Expect increased flights as Cairo International expands
Cairo International Airport is slated for significant expansion to enhance visitor access. The airport is increasing its capacity alongside the growth in tourist numbers, which reached 14.4 million in early 2026. Private travellers should consider booking flights sooner to secure their preferred times, as the influx of visitors can lead to busier schedules and increased wait times at the airport.
