Book your accommodations ahead of October 19's military exercise
Turkey has announced a live-fire military exercise south of Kastellorizo on October 19. This may lead to increased military presence in the area, causing potential access issues for ferry services and assistance for travellers. Expect heightened security, which could affect rooms availability on nearby islands. It is wise to secure your accommodations now to avoid last-minute changes or limited options.
